Tetris, Pac-Man, Pong and Super Mario join video Game Hall of Fame. Other than the 4 games, Doom and World of Warcraft also joining the group. All the six games identified to as most influenced game cross all decades and platforms.
The newly created World Video Game Hall of fame is done by The Strong; a national museum of play and also houses the National Toy Hall of Game. They have preserving and collecting games for years for the History of Electronic Games.

Nomination for the 2016 hall of fame class are now open through the end of March 2016. Anyone can submit their nomination but the game must have had a long stretch of popularity and can be on any platform.
